The sound sculpture in its formal composition recalls the classical concept of “natura morta”, still life paintings, trying however to analyze, through the sound, the vital energy that is still in the picked up fruit.
Two electrodes are therefore inserted into the fruit to convert chemical energy into electrical potential used to record and modulate the sound which is then reproduced inside an acoustic sphere made in acrylic stone.
