Sandro Carta (trumpet), Marta Vigna (harp), Michele Spanghero (double bass) met during the laboratories of the festival Stazione di Topolò-Postaja Topolove. Their aim is to develop an acoustic and musical research through a continuous stream of surreal atmospheres.
Timbre experimentation, which is the common thread of these three musicians, led to the daring combination of trumpet, harp and double bass to give birth to an unusual chamber ensemble. This music is strongly influenced by American minimalism, contemporary music and Giacinto Scelsi, filtered through an improvisation technique based on fragmentation, on rhythmic ostinato and microtonal variations.
