It’s the performing development of the sculpture project Almost Solo (link).
Sounds recorded during a two month tour around North Europe have been edited into an a-chronological collage reproduced and diffused by two loudspeakers placed on the body of the doublebass. Therefore this is not a real solo performance, intended as soliloquy, but rather a musical dialogue with distant places and memories of the tour, a diary made of sound fragments, reshaped as a stream of memories from which originates the improvisation, blending together different time layers in the double resonance of the double-bass.
